Growth assignment answers are not saving or quiz starts on wrong question

Growth assignments and quizzes can behave unexpectedly in a couple of situations. Here's what causes it and how to fix it.

Answers not saving

Check your connection

Growth assignment responses sync to your account in real time. If your connection drops while you're typing, the answer might not save. Make sure you have a stable connection before working through an assignment.

Don't use the browser back button

Navigating away with the browser back button can cause unsaved answers to be lost. Use the in-app navigation (Next, Previous, or the progress bar) to move between questions.

Reload and check

If you're not sure whether an answer saved, reload the page and return to the assignment. If the answer is still there, it saved. If it's blank, you'll need to re-enter it.

Quiz starts on the wrong question

This usually happens when a previous session didn't close cleanly. The quiz remembers your position, but the saved position can sometimes be off if the session ended unexpectedly (browser crash, connection drop, etc.).

To reset your position:

  1. Log out of your account completely.

  2. Clear cookies and site data for app.myicor.com in your browser settings.

  3. Log back in and open the quiz again.

If the quiz still starts from the wrong place after that, contact us and we can manually reset your progress on that specific assignment.

Completed an assignment but it's not showing as done?

Make sure you submitted the assignment, not just filled it in. Look for a Submit or Complete button at the end of the assignment flow and click it. Just entering answers without submitting won't mark it complete.
