Ask Jax anything, from your own AI .

The myICOR MCP connects your own AI assistant (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Claude.ai, or any MCP-compatible client) to two things at once: your own myICOR data, and the same shared knowledge Jax uses inside the community. Once connected, you can ask your AI things like "what should I focus on next in the ICOR Journey?" or "find the recording moment where Tom explains tool-stack gaps", and it searches myICOR, pulls the relevant pointers and deep-links, and answers right there in your chat. It is read-only, it only ever touches your own data plus myICOR's shared knowledge as pointers, and you can disconnect it any time. This guide walks you through what it is, why you would want it, and how to set it up in about five minutes.

Read-only, always

Your data plus shared knowledge

Inner Circle benefit

~5 min setup

01 What it is, and why you would want it Your AI, talking to your myICOR system

Think of it as a bridge. On one side is the AI assistant you already use. On the other side is everything you have built inside myICOR: your tool stack, your course progress, your reflections, your workstreams, your journey. The myICOR MCP connects the two, so your assistant can reason over your real situation instead of guessing. You ask in plain language; it answers from your actual data.

The simple version

Your AI stops giving generic advice and starts giving your advice, grounded in what you have actually done inside myICOR.

02 Who can use it Connecting your AI is an Inner Circle benefit

The MCP connection is reserved for Inner Circle members (and Host or Admin accounts). If you are on the Free, Monthly, or Legacy Lifetime tier, you will see an upgrade prompt instead of a connection. Joining Inner Circle is how you unlock it.

Unlock your AI copilot with Inner Circle

Inner Circle is the membership tier where your AI assistant gets to read and reason over your full myICOR system. It is the only tier with MCP access. If you can already see the MCP page inside myICOR, you are good to go. If you see an upgrade prompt instead, upgrading to Inner Circle turns it on.

Free Monthly Legacy Lifetime Inner Circle

03 How it works Three layers, one secure connection

Your AI client talks to the myICOR MCP server over a secure connection. The server confirms who you are with a one-time browser sign-in, checks that you are an Inner Circle member, then reads only your own data and returns it to your AI. Here is the whole path, top to bottom.

Layer 1

Your AI assistant

Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Claude.ai, or any MCP-compatible client you already use.

secure connection

Layer 2

The myICOR MCP server

Confirms it is really you (one-time sign-in), checks your Inner Circle access, and reads in read-only mode. Nothing is ever written or changed.

reads + searches, returns pointers

Layer 3

Your data plus myICOR's shared knowledge

Your own tool stack, progress, reflections, workstreams, bookmarks, and journey, plus the shared knowledge Jax uses: lessons, the resource library, founder guidance, Jax's growing insight memory, and the weekly recordings. Your data stays yours; the shared knowledge comes back as snippets and deep-links, never in bulk.

Read-only Your AI can read your data. It never writes, posts, changes, or uploads anything.

Your data only It can never see another member's data. The wall is built into the server.

Revoke anytime Disconnect any session from the MCP page in myICOR whenever you want.

04 The headline benefit Ask Jax anything, from your own AI

These tools reach the same knowledge sources Jax uses inside the community: the lessons (the ICOR Journey and the courses), the learning-resource library, the founder guidance from Tom Solid and Paco Cantero, Jax's growing insight memory, and the weekly session recordings. When you ask your own AI a question, it searches myICOR, pulls the relevant pointers and deep-links, and answers right there in your chat, librarian-style. It points you to the best lesson or the exact recording moment. It does not lecture, and it does not dump full content.

Jax's knowledge and retrieval, delivered through your own AI

It is private, one-to-one, and runs on your own AI. Your assistant composes the answer; the MCP just finds the right pointers and deep-links inside myICOR for it to work from.

Searches, then points It returns short snippets plus deep-links into the app, never full lesson scripts or full content.

Jumps to the exact moment For the weekly recordings it returns a timestamped deep-link that opens the recording at the right second.

Gets better every day It improves as Jax's insight memory keeps growing, so the answers stay current with the community.

Blends with your own world Because it runs in your own AI, it can fold myICOR answers together with your progress data and your local myPKA notes for guidance that fits you.

Paste these to your own AI

What should I focus on next in the ICOR Journey?

Find the recording moment where Tom explains tool-stack gaps and link me straight to it.

Summarize the founder advice on PKM versus PPM, and link me the sources.

Point me to the best lesson for setting up my capture habit, and one library resource that backs it up.

The honest version: this is Jax's knowledge and retrieval running inside your own AI. Your assistant writes the answer; myICOR supplies the pointers. So it stays private and personal to you, and it gets sharper as Jax learns. Coming soon: golden-nuggets and announcements search. General community posts and comments are deliberately left out, to protect members' privacy.

05 Get connected in 5 steps Set it up in about five minutes

Setup is a one-click sign-in. You paste a single URL, with no token or API key to copy. Pick your client below, copy the configuration, and follow the steps.

Claude Desktop

Settings · MCP Servers config recommended · one-click sign-in

``json { "mcpServers": { "myicor": { "url": "https://app.myicor.com/api/mcp" } } } ``

Claude Code

.mcp.json · project root or ~/.mcp.json recommended · one-click sign-in

``json { "mcpServers": { "myicor": { "type": "http", "url": "https://app.myicor.com/api/mcp" } } } ``

1 Copy the configuration above Use the block that matches your client: Claude Desktop or Claude Code. Both are shown above.

2 Open your client's MCP settings In Claude Desktop, go to Settings, then MCP Servers. In Claude Code, paste it into your .mcp.json file.

3 Paste the config and restart your client A quick restart lets your client pick up the new myICOR connection.

4 Authorize once in your browser Your browser opens for a quick myICOR sign-in. This confirms it is you and that you are an Inner Circle member. You only do this once.

5 Done Your AI is now connected to your myICOR data. Ask it anything from the list below.

Even easier: let your AI set it up for you. If you run a local AI assistant that has access to your computer (for example Claude Code, or any agentic assistant that can read and edit files on your machine), you do not have to edit anything by hand. Just copy the configuration above, paste it to your assistant, and ask it to set up the myICOR MCP server for you. It will create or update your .mcp.json (or your client's settings file) for you. You only finish with the one-time browser sign-in from step 4.

06 What you can ask your AI Everything your assistant can do once connected

All of this is read-only. Your own data is read directly; myICOR's shared knowledge comes back as searchable snippets and deep-links. Your AI reads, searches, reasons, and answers. It never changes anything inside myICOR.

Run an audit of my myPKA folder and flag anything that needs attention.

07 Your privacy, plainly Built read-only, scoped to you, reversible anytime

The connection is read-only and moves in one direction: out to your AI to answer your questions. The only data that ever leaves is your own. myICOR's shared knowledge comes back only as pointers and deep-links into the app, nothing is pulled in bulk, and you can disconnect at any time. Here is the whole privacy posture in one place.

Five promises that never change

Read-only. Your AI reads. It never writes, posts, or uploads.

Your data only. No other member's data is ever visible.

Shared knowledge as pointers. Lessons, resources, founder guidance, and recordings come back as snippets and deep-links, never in bulk.

Sign-in confirms it is you. A one-time browser authorization.

Revoke anytime. One click on the MCP page disconnects it.

08 Manage your connection See and revoke your active sessions

Every client you connect shows up as a session on the MCP page inside myICOR. You can see them all and revoke any one of them at any time. Revoking takes effect immediately, and you can always reconnect later.

09 Frequently asked Quick answers

Q. Which AI clients work?

Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Claude.ai, and any MCP-compatible client. If your assistant supports the Model Context Protocol, you can point it at the myICOR endpoint.

Q. Is my data safe?

Yes. The connection is read-only, so your AI can read your data but never change, post, or upload anything. It can only ever see your own data, never another member's. myICOR's shared knowledge comes back only as snippets and deep-links, never in bulk, and you can revoke any session at any time from the MCP page.

Q. Is this the same as asking Jax in the community?

It reaches the same knowledge sources Jax uses (lessons, the resource library, founder guidance, Jax's growing insight memory, and the weekly recordings), and it answers librarian-style by pointing you to the best lesson or the exact recording moment. The difference is that your own AI composes the answer, so it stays private and one-to-one, and it can blend myICOR's knowledge with your own progress and notes. It gets better every day as Jax's knowledge keeps growing.

Q. Will it give me the full lesson or recording?

No. It returns short snippets plus deep-links into the app, so you land on the right lesson or open a recording at the exact second. It never returns full lesson scripts or full content. For recordings the deep-link carries a timestamp, for example /recordings/<id>?t=1425 , which opens at that moment.

Q. Why do I need Inner Circle?

MCP access is an Inner Circle benefit (along with Host and Admin accounts). Connecting your AI to your full myICOR system is one of the perks that comes with Inner Circle membership. Free, Monthly, and Legacy Lifetime members see an upgrade prompt instead.

Q. Do I need a token or API key?

No. You only paste a single URL, and a one-time browser sign-in handles the rest. There is no token or API key to copy or manage.

Q. How do I disconnect?

Open the MCP page inside myICOR at app.myicor.com/profile?section=ai-integration , find the session you want to remove, and click Revoke. It takes effect immediately, and you can reconnect whenever you like.
